Washington State University is now offering the last two years of a 4-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Olympic College- Bremerton. This program is open to all students that are able to certify into the WSU BSME program.
With multiple firms in Kitsap County employing mechanical engineers, as well as the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Intermediate Maintenance Facility, students have multiple employment opportunities directly out of school. The program allows students to complete their Mechanical Engineering degree without the expense of relocating to a 4-year university campus.

In addition to transfer degrees, certificates and two-year degree programs, Olympic College offers Bachelor of Applied Science 4-year degree programs and has strong affiliations with:
Old Dominion University: One of the country’s pioneer distance learning universities, especially serving the US Navy for dozens of years.
Washington State University: This partnership enables Kitsap residents to earn an Engineering degree by taking all their classes at Olympic College in Bremerton.
Western Washington University's Huxley College of the Environment: A premier program embracing environmental science and policy is offered locally, helping to keep Kitsap green.
